#1 This is Christine Carter, 28, who lost 150 pounds after struggling with her weight and wanting to do something about it. However, Christine’s boyfriend didn’t want her to lose weight – he wanted her to stay overweight – and as she continued to drop pounds, he became more and more jealous. It wasn’t long before she dumped her controlling boyfriend, because he didn’t approve and was not supportive of her weight loss.
#2 At the beginning of her weight loss journey, Christine weighed 275 pounds. She lost 50 pounds after she underwent a gastric sleeve surgery and lost another 100 pounds successfully through good ol’ fashioned diet and exercise. She later had a tummy tuck to get rid of access skin from her weight loss.
#3 The most important part of this story is perhaps not the weight loss, but along with shedding the weight, Christine was able to rid herself of her controlling and manipulative boyfriend as well, who was obviously holding her back, bringing unneeded negativity into her life and preventing her from being the best she could be for herself.
#4 Go on, Christine! This is a great lesson to teach to others. If you want to better yourself to be happier and someone is holding you back, leave them in the dust and show them what you can do with or without them.
